Greetings from Mendoza, where the steak is good, the wine is better, and the nerves are starting to fizz.
This can only mean one thing: it’s Aconcagua time.

I landed here a week ago, dusted off the gear, met up with the team, and we’re now officially making our way up the tallest mountain in the Americas. If all goes well (and the wind behaves), we’re aiming for a summit and flight window between the 18th and 21st of December. No promises, of course — Aconcagua is known to change her mood faster than you can unzip a down jacket.

A fun twist on this expedition: Marshall Mosher is joining the team. If you don’t know Marshall, he’s an adventure storyteller, a serial mountain chaser, and a TEDx speaker. He’ll be documenting the whole trip, so expect some epic footage.

More updates soon (once we’re a little higher, a little colder, and hopefully a lot closer to takeoff).
Stay tuned, stay warm, and keep looking up.— Pierre
P.S. Enjoy some of my latest snaps along the way below!
