The Adventure
“After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb”
– Nelson Mandela
It all starts with a dream.
Pierre first set his sights on paragliding from the summit of each of the 7 Summits—the highest peak on each continent—in 1998. After the year 2000, he began his ascent toward this bold adventure.
He started with Elbrus and Aconcagua, successfully reaching the summits of both. However, continuing the journey to the remaining five mountains proved to be financially demanding. To make it feasible, Pierre rallied a team of friends to join him in filming and documenting these epic experiences, allowing him to share them with others.
With the support of his crew, Pierre returned to the mountains, capturing every summit and flight on film. Today, he's almost completed his quest, with Antarctica as the remaining summit.

The Mission
Pierre has successfully paraglided from the summits of Mt Elbrus, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, and Carstens Pyramid.
While he reached the summit of Denali, the authorities prohibited his team from flying off by confiscating their gear.
In May 2022, Pierre made history by becoming the first person to officially obtain permission to paraglide from Mount Everest, but only from the South Cole at 8000m approximately 800 meters below the summit.
This groundbreaking achievement not only marked a personal milestone but also paved the way for future paragliding expeditions from Everest and the surrounding region.
About Pierre
Pierre has been an enthusiastic climber and adventurer since 1982 and started paragliding in 1988.
He gained his mountain and flying experience in the Andes, Alps, and South Africa's Drakensberg Mountains — the playground he calls home.
He won various paragliding competitions and championships in South Africa during the ’90s and has competed at an international level. Obtaining his national colors for paragliding
In 2008 he was nominated Solomon Adventurer of the Year. He has competed in the Redbull X-Alps in 2009, 2011, and 2013.
Today, Pierre holds the world record of the first legal flight off Mount Everest.

Accompanying Friends
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family and friends for supporting me in the various adventures and travels we have shared together, and without whom none of these expeditions would have been possible.
The memories we made will be with me forever, thanks for your tears, frustrations and all the laughter !
